In 2003, Stewart's Heating & Air Cond., is proud to have donated the HVAC system and installation for the 4th annual NHI Dream Home, benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Along with the builder, Legacy Custom Homes, Inc., (formerly Williams-Russell Building Company), we feel that helping a cause like this, the number one killer of children under the age of 15, is the least we can do to insure, through our children, the future of our country.
Also in 2002, Stewart's Heating & Air Cond., is proud to have donated complete HVAC systems for two of the twelve homes constructed in 5 days. In 2003, Stewart's Heating & Air Cond., provided two complete HVAC systems for the 2003 Builders Blitz (24 homes in 5 days). Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, provides families the dream of home ownership. For many people this is not a daily concern, but for these needy families this is a dream come true. To see 24 homes built in 5 days and seeing the heart felt appreciation of these deserving families, is the most rewarding payment we have ever received.
The builders we partnered with on these worthwhile projects were Mark Massengill Builder, Premiere Homes II, Inc., and Legacy Custom Homes, Inc. Both companies are very active in community issues and we were proud to have been part of this project with them. Mark Massengill was named the 2003 Builder of the Year in Wake County
